David Lillard lives in Jefferson County, and has served twice on the board of the Land Trust — once in the early 1990s and again from 2018 until 2022. His favorite past time is spending time in West Virginia’s mountains, hiking and paddling.
David is executive director of Catoctin Land Trust. His past roles include West Virginia Rivers Coalition supporting public lands and clean water policy programs, and on staff of The Downstream Project, which builds conservation capacity through communications and technology. He is also a co-founder of the American Conservation Film Festival.
