Many of Jeff Feaga’s activities, whether related to career or hobbies, focus on water. He started his career working in wetlands and later shifted to managing wildlife habitat for rare species like the bog turtle and New England cottontail. Having earned graduate degrees from Oregon State University and Virginia Tech, Jeff is a lifelong learner that enjoys sharing his interests through teaching and mentoring others. In 2023, Jeff decided to focus his land protection efforts by directing stewardship with the Potomac Conservancy, a regional land trust holding conservation easements throughout the Potomac River watershed. Jeff lives with his family in Shepherdstown and can be seen being pulled around on his bike or x-country skis by his dog.
