Alex grew up in the eastern panhandle and now she and her husband are raising their two daughters in Charles Town. She worked for eleven years in the Jefferson County Department of Engineering, Planning, and Zoning where she assisted the public in navigating land use policies. She recently joined the team at Skinner Law Firm where she works as an executive assistant in the Finance Department.

Alex enjoys hiking with her family, volunteering at the Charles Town Farmers Market, and learning to garden.
